New Paltz is beautiful and is a great little town to be vegan. While visiting, we stopped off at an Apple Orchard and picked raspberries and blackberries. For lunch we want to Rock Da Pasta and Karma Road Deli for dinner.
Rock Da Pasta offers at least a handful of vegan pastas. My mushroom pasta was tasty, but not exactly healthy or gourmet. The waitress was not prepared to answer vegan questions and recommended a fish dish to veganize. Now how do you veganize scallops?
Karma Road on the other hand was a perfect hippy restaurant with a ton of healthy options and helpful staff. The food was delicious, especially potato bread and kale/ginger salad. The prices were great too.
