The much awaited vegan bakery – Champs – opened up in Williamsburg a few weeks ago. I finally made it out there with a vegan friend and wanted to share some pics.

The bakery has a lot of space (I can see vegan events happening here in the future) but for now the place was unusably hot and we were forced to eat our new found delicacies on a park bench.
We got raspberry pastry, muffins, pignoli and peanut butter cookies. My favorite was pignoli cookies with which were hard on the outside and chewy inside. Good job, please make rainbow cookies for next time.
